Micheal Gaskell.
Through a colleague, i was pointed towards the work of MICHEAL GASKELL. His work was featured in this years National Portrait awards. Working in egg tempura, the work is incredibly photo realistic. I particularly enjoy his landscapes, which have lots of space to them, and interestingly simple compositionally.
